Sharon to divide Jerusalem

It is being widely reported that Yassir Sharon is planning to expel all Jewish residents from over 90% of Judea and Samaria - including East Jerusalem - as a grand "good will gesture" to the so-called "Palestinians".

In the latest issue of Newsweek, Sharon's longtime friend and fellow Likud defector to Kedima, Ehud Olmert, said this explaining Sharon's decision to leave Likud and form his new Party: "He's prepared for a major accommodation in the [occupied] territories that Likud could not accept."

Sharon's top advisor and senior campaign pollster, Kalman Gayer, went even further. "In theory", Gayer says, "Sharon would accept a Palestinian state in Gaza and 90 percent of the West Bank, and a compromise on Jerusalem, in exchange for peace."

The Right in Israel, as you can imagine, has gone through the roof on this, while the leftwing continues to give Sharon high marks for offering such dramatic capitulation offers to the "Palestinians" whom they feel such compassion for.

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin (Likud) said to Arutz Sheva News, "It is painful to realize that the one who always accused others of planning to divide Jerusalem has been revealed in all his shame as intending to do so himself."

Sharon, for his part, has been evasive about the report, giving mixed messages about whether or not such capitulations and expulsions are really in the works or not. Opponents of his Gaza capitulation remember all too well how Sharon sent out advisors to test the media waters before moving ahead with the ethnic cleansing of what is now New Judenrein Gaza.

The Nationalist camp, therefore, is not buying Sharon's half-hearted denials. Today in Arutz Sheva we see this: "MK Uzi Landau, who recently bowed out of the Likud leadership race and endorsed Binyamin Netanyahu, said, "We know from past experience that whenever the prime minister rushed to deny something – it is certainly true."

Israel's continued survival as a Jewish State, or degeneration into a divided State surrounded by a terrorist network of moslems in their own terrorist state, is at the crossroads. If Sharon gets his way the whole of Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Golan, much of Jerusalem, virtually everything but Tel Aviv and a few neighboring communities, will be under Arab control.

Did I just get a whiff of right of return on the horizion?

Kuhnkat, imagine that George Bush suddenly decided after being re-elected that he would embrace NARAL and the NAACP and AIDS activists, and gay marriage activists, and became a pacifist in the model of Jaque Chirac.

Hard to even imagine, eh? Sharon is even worse than that.

I just hope G-d lets Israel survive.

Sharon's old party, Likud, is not much better. They currently have members who are circulating a petition that Moshe Feiglin, the only yarmulke wearing likud nationalist in the knesset, be banned from the party because he's not liberal enough.

Read it here.

bob - christians are banking on the fact that G-d allows israel to survive - it is where we plan to spend eternity.

i read a great article by dave hunt of the berean call regarding who israel belongs to. it is called "the islamic threat to israel" and can be found here:

although from a christian perspective, spot on. worth a read, or print it out and read it later.

I think anyone who believes it is wrong for the Israelis and Palestinians NOT to share equally in this land, or at least equally divide the land, is a true bigot. Oh, I guess you're all bigots.

Im just confused.
It's as if Jimmy Carter's ghost took him over (it's a little known fact that Carter is long dead and his corpse is animated by Satan).

I feel like gravity is reversing or something.
How can Sharon even consider this sort of stuff?
Is he simply going senile?
Is this the same Ariel Sharon that kicked so much jihadi ass?

*shakes his head in utter puzzlement"

Truly the fabric of reality is tearing.

well, danabobanaboboneheaddana - then we should just let bi-gots be bi-gots because the palistinians exist only in the heads of people - assuming you are a people - like you. go read the article i cited and quit being so judgmental, lest ye be judged. which, btw, means now that you have judged us, we have every right to judge you, you little carp.

any why, you may ask, am i calling you a carp? because i am a lady and madze has asked us to keep our namecalling civilized. so i will not call you a stinking piece of fecal matter like i originally wanted.

Dana you think the jihadis want to share?
Or are you just being thick?

From what I've seen, they've not indicated that they are interested in anything less than erasing the Jews from existence.

You got a special dhimmi security pass or something?
I mean, you seem to be privy to intentions nobody else can detect in these animals.
