Presbyterians, Hezbollah form alliance

Presbytarian leaders met in Lebanon recently with head Hezbollah terrorist Hassan Nasrallah to officially announce their support for Hezbollah's continued terrorist actions against Israel. At these talks, the two groups agreed to build on the friendship they have shared since the Presbyterian Church completely divested from the Jewish State early last year.

The Presbytarians are one of the most liberal branches of Christianity, and openly condone and perform gay marriages when not helping to fund moslem efforts to kill Jewish civilians.

This from Arutz Sheva:

The meeting took place during a trip co-sponsored by the Chicago Presbytery’s Middle East Task Force, in which Rev. Bob Reynolds of the Presbytery’s executive board took part.

The trip’s leader, Dr. Robert Worley, praised Hizbullah and expressed understanding for the terror group’s activities against the Jewish state, saying that Presbyterians “have suffered much pressure on the part of Jewish organizations.” Worley also told Nasrallah that Jewish influence in America leads to the perception that Hizbullah is a terrorist organization.

Gotta love those liberal denominations. Aren't they so loving and warm to the terrorists? I mean, how dare those Jews so rudely refuse to let the moslems kill them and create an islamic state in place of Israel.

Presbyterians have some splainin' to do. I know I wouldn't want to be part of a denomination that openly endorses Hezbollah.

So, we now see who the bigot is, don't we MZ? You have attacked the Presbyterians because they are not fundamentalist enough for you. They accept gays so you hate them. They want to help make peace by having reasoned dialogue with Hizbullah and you condemn them.

What is obvious is you hate anyone who isn't exactly like you. You are islamophobic, homophobic and liberalphobic.

Your argument against criticizing Israel would be much more credible if you would at least make an effort to see how the other side suffers first.

pcusa is a church which believes christians have replaced israel in G-d's eyes, same with united methodists (gwb).

this is commonly referred to as "replacement theology" it is an errant teaching. one only need study the o.t. book of hosea closely. this book, along with the song of songs (solomon) i believe go hand in hand in the plan for redemption.

the books explain quite explicitly the relationships between first, a man and a woman; second, G-d and israel; and third, Yeshua and his bride (christianity).

what ignorant christians do not realize is, number one, if G-d does not stand by the EVERLASTING covenants G-d made with israel, He will not stand by His promises to us. and, sorry to say, but that would make G-d a liar.

i do not believe G-d is a liar. the bible clearly states He is incapable of lying.

one only need know the importance of the firstborns in the bible to see how this relationship works. the times in the o.t. where blessings were made to seconds, such as isaac, were legitimate.

mine and many other christian's take on israel is she is the estranged wife of G-d, but she will return at the appointed time.

nanc says this cannot be soon enough.

oh, and badnanc says to leftisnutz, "shut the up!"

you are right tazz - they are not christians.

this kind of thing stirs me up so bad - i'm afraid it will be the death of me, but what a death that will be.

another clue to which church is which is if they start "ecumenism" speech. this is where we should just all have the same theology and be one big happy church - wrong. do not believe what people tell you - go to the love letter G-d wrote directly to you - the bible. if it does not align with His Word it is a lie.

omg - i'm hanging out so much with kuhnkat, i'm starting to sound like him - somebody stop me! lol! and xoxoxo kuhnkat.

Thanks for the explanation of the Presby theology, nanc. Now, where exactly does Hezbollah and the homosexuals fit into their Jew replacement theory?

it's all about how liberal is creeping into EVERYTHING sacred. all the churches accepting pillow biters, nonsense theology, embracing all that is wrong.

actually, it was just one of my analogies, madze.

it is theological, kyle, for bible believing christians. all that is happening in the m.e. is foreseen in the bible and as the scales fall from the eyes of people and their ears are open, these events become more apparently so theologically. of course the same is true historically - no doubt about that.

the new testament speaks to an apostasy at the end of days - that is where usually bible believers invent new things to make christianity more appealing - this is called a "falling away" from truth. as you can see it is all around us.

Go to Google Blog search and type in the keyword "Nuhad Tomeh" to read more about the Presbyterian Church USA employee who arranges for these visits with Hezbollah.
