Democrats double-talk on Iraq

If you've been paying attention to the news lately, the leftist clowns of the Democrat Party have been flip-flopping all over themselves about what to do in Iraq. Here are a few of my favorite double-talkers...

Nancy Pelosi, after voting against the GOP's Nov. 17th "Murtha resolution" to immediately begin withdrawing our troops from Iraq, said:

"Mr. Murtha speaks for himself."

Nancy Pelosi, on November 30th after President Bush's speech about needing to stay strong and not abandon the mission or the people in Iraq, said:

"We should follow the lead of Congressman John Murtha, who has put forth a plan to make American safer, to make our military stronger and to make Iraq more stable. That is what the American people and our troops deserve...I believe that a majority of our caucus clearly supports Mr. Murtha."

OK, very good, Nancy. Hope that flip-flop doesn't kill your back, though...oh, that's right; you're spineless. Sorry, I forgot. Let's move to John Kerry, shall we?

John Kerry, on December 3rd, 2003, during his campaign for the Democrat nomination for president, had this to say about the strategy we should have for Iraq:

“I fear that in the run-up to the 2004 election the administration is considering what is tantamount to a cut-and-run strategy. A sudden embrace of accelerated Iraqification and American troop withdrawal without adequate stability is an invitation to failure.” He also contended that it would be “a disaster and a disgraceful betrayal of principle” to accelerate the transfer of authority to Iraqis so as to allow “a politically expedient withdrawal of American troops.”

John Kerry, on the campaign trail in April, 2004, had this to say about Iraq:

"It may well be that we need a new president, a breath of fresh air, to re-establish our credibility with the rest of the world," Kerry said on NBC's Meet the Press. "If it requires more troops in order to create the stability that eliminates the chaos that's what we have to do."

John Kerry, hawking away on the campaig in May, 2004:

May 28 (Bloomberg) -- Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry called for 40,000 more U.S. troops in Iraq, saying he would ``modernize our military to match its new missions'' in the war on terror and homeland security.

John Kerry, two weeks ago following Murtha's call to immediately begin withdrawing our troops as reported by CNN:

Not all Democrats are lining up behind Murtha. Fellow veteran Sen. John Kerry, who also voted for the Iraq resolution, disagrees with Murtha's call for a swift withdrawal, arguing instead for a phased withdrawal linked "to the success of the election."

John Kerry, now as reported by CNN:

John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) yesterday called for the withdrawal of 20,000 troops from Iraq by year's end as the first step in a proposal that would significantly reduce U.S. military forces in the region over the next 15 months. Said Kerry, "Our military presence in vast and visible numbers has become part of the problem, not the solution."

Hmmmmm...very interesting. Love those leftwing flip-flops.

What sickens me is that most lefties KNOW the traitors Pelosi/Kerry/Harkin/Reid are liars and wafflers - but they dont even care.

something happens to my delicate ears as soon as pelosi opens one of her mouths. it takes me back to charlie brown adult speak, "whah, whah, whah, whah, whah, whah, whah..." she gives women everywhere a bad name. women, the fairer sex - not in nancy's case.

You have discovered that the Democrats have no plan for Iraq.

The only plan they have to seize the White House, Congress and the Senate.

Everything else is subordinate, which is why they are so incoherent on foreign policy.

I won't accuse them of being fifth columnists because they do want the country to prosper (after all, you can’t rule a destroyed nation). However, they are Democrats first and Americans second. This comes at the expense of the US and Iraq…

Kuhnkat, I agree with you. The left is actually hopeful that the country FAILS so that they can replace our system with socialism/communism. Their biased allies in the media make all news look bad for conservatives to help bring us down...the enemy within, you might say.

You are a disgusting group of cowards...I can't believe the chicken hawks acting tough here in cyber war expect to be taken seriously. Wimps...you make fun of Kerry and Murtha, who are battle tested heroes, so you can defend a bunch of gutless deferment specialists trying to pretend they're real men. You're all just pitiful.

Leftisdoublethink,

What kinda of machismo bullshit are you trying to pull?

The military is 80% behind Bush and against Kerry and Murtha.

Are you going to call us "fags" next?

nanc said...

he had best not call nanc a fag - ooooooooohh my!

Who's being "machismo", Fascismnow? I believe I stated facts while you just bark like the programmed dog that you are. Get a clue, the military is tired of fighting a war based on lies and everyone who has their head out of Bush's ass knows it. Look at the poll numbers, jackass.

nanc said...

leftisright - what poll numbers? what pollsters? how many polled? demographics? what percentage speak for me?

i trust no polls. no one should. do 200 people polled actually represent the pulse of the nation? come on...you braindead lefties place too much power in polls. look what happened in the exit polls in the 2004 elections - shame you should know better now. polls, unless taken by every member of the nation, are bunk. pure bottom bunk.

come at us with a better approach next time. 200 people in the nation do not speak for me; a 1,000 people in this nation do not speak for me, but alas, maybe 2/3 of the nation might come close. when they take this poll, let me know - and i must be a part of it.

Well at least Leftistotalitarism didnt call me a fag.

I'm glad he doesnt resort to personal attacks to prove his point.

;-)

Oh by the way Leftisright, the military is overwhelmingly behind our country in Iraq.

You are either lying or brainwashed, take your pick...

Yeah, Kerry's a battle-tested veteran all right! His specs probably read: goes from 0 to 100 in 1 second in reverse direction on hearing enemy fire, makes good PR movies of self enacting (imaginary) heroic patrols, and, if all else fails, can imitate a (dead) tree. Oh, and I forgot, can put anyone to sleep in five minutes flat!

And RWM, the leftists *do care* that Pelosi and Co. are dyed-in-the-wool traitors - why else would they give them senior Dem positions?

Ack.
You got me there infidel lol.

I suppose Pelosi being a bug-eyed whacko is precisely why they elected her.

As for Kerry, he should have been shot for treason 30yrs ago.
He is filth.

Btw leftinsane, I'm a vet.
How bout you?
