Convention-oil Wisdom Questioned

Solid Surfer today posts a fascinating report about a brand new theory suggesting oil is not in finite supply after all, but, rather, a naturally regenerating resource that is becoming ever more plentiful. It would be facinating to see how the world's distribution of power and politics would change if oil were not an endangered fuel source, wouldn't it?

MZ thinks this information will be covered up by the liberal media at all costs, both to placate the left's environmental wackjobs, as well as appeasing their friends in the Arab world who need to keep prices artifically high to fund jihad.

Read it all here.

It's amazing, isn't it, Kyle? I ignore the media, and they go away to another evil conservative story, and I never lose a minute's sleep.

However, the idea that REPUBLICANS were asking American oil companies not to make a profit while kissing the Saudis ASS and letting Iran's Ayatollahs build NUKES really pissed me off.

in light of kuhnkat having said it all, i'd like to do a book review. michelle malkin's "unhinged, exposing liberals gone wild" is quite perhaps one of THE best books of its kind. although i'm only halfway through, the introduction alone is worth the cost of the book. no, i do not work for ms. malkin or any of her affiliates. you guys would love this one. nancbook reviewer. oh, and love ya' kuhn!

it's 12 pages long kuhnkat!!! i could put type it in increments - so here goes:

unhinged - exposing liberals gone wild - michelle malkin

introduction:

what makes unhinged liberals tick---and why are they so ticked off?

they're mad about losing the past two presidential elections. they're mad about losing the mainstream monopoly on how news and information are disseminated in the 21st century. they're made about minority conservatives in the republican party. they're mad about patriotism, capitalism, and the war on terrorism.

if ideologically biased members of the american psychological association weren't so desperately preoccupied with proving that we conservatives are crazy,(1) they would find a gold mine of research material waiting in the bush-bashing enclaves of the anti-war movement, academia, and the democrat leadership. i am not a licensed medical professional, but after compiling case study after case study, i do know this:

the american left is unwell.

i know this from both professional and personal experience--and i'm not just talking about the time msnbc caveman chris matthews frothed at the mouth and kicked me off his train wreck of a show because i dared to defeat the swift boat veterans. (2) every day, my mailbox teems with seething, spiteful, and incoherent rants from left-wing crackpots who make matthews look like a zen master on morphine. granted, some of the correspondents are probably half-baked homeless people logging in from taspayer-subsidized internet accounts in san francisco and berkeley. but many are supposedly respectable students, homemakers, legal secretaries, and retirees whose hatred of president bush and the conservative media has driven them over the edge.

how is it, you may wonder, that a reasonable democrat mutates from quietly sporting a faded fore-lieberman bumper sticker on his volvo, to bellowing across the dinner table about yellowcake (uranium, not duncan hines) to e-mailing profanity-laced screeds decrying "chimpy mchitlerburton!"

...to be continued...

forgive any mispellings (sp). i type tooooooooo fast!
