I love how Communists claim to be Jews only when denouncing Israel.

Pumpkin pies from fresh pumpkins.
We get some pumpkins for Halloween like most folks, but we dont carve em for jack-o-lanterns.
We decorate em and draw scary faces on em.
That way they keep until Thanksgiving at which point I cut em into big pieces, remove the seeds, stick em in a big pot, and bake em for a while til theyre soft.
Scoop em out with a big spoon and run it through a blender - and so forth.
Way better than the canned stuff and a good sized pumpkin will give you a dozen pies.
fulfilling thanksgiving to you and yours madze - praise G-d my husband is remote control challenged and i never have to watch sports! yep, it's been nearly 17 years of bliss, but alas i do have to go fishing sometimes...
