i believe he is a tortured man and will probably suffer a stroke before the week is out. it will be painful and although i know you all feel ill of him, i pray he lives, but if he succumbs i pray it is quickly and with as little pain as possible. G-d will judge him justly. this is the only statement i will make about sharon in this box tonight. no crap please.

it is difficult for me to be hateful, especially since i just got home from teaching a class to children on the virtues of forgiveness, gifts and love.

no one here knows better than madze and a few others of our family's love of israel and ALL which is israel and i find no pleasure in sharon's pain.

Nobody has been more harsh in their criticism of Sharon than me, but like Nanc I will not be dancing on his grave should he pass. Let's just say I am very sorry that he chose to perform such evil actions at the end of his life.

I think the timing rather odd.
Maybe someone did something to him.

As they say, the mills of God grind slowly ...

In other words, I am with Jan V on this one.

And RWM may be right

jan v - i cannot explain my grief enough for the people of gush katif and what happened there. i went on my face for those people in prayer - i cried - i asked G-d, "why?" our family prayed and watched intently as these people were ripped from their land.

i pray for our messed up politicians. the hand we have in dividing the land of israel is all too apparent to me - this is my field of bible study. we are, and will continue to pay for what we have done. i fear it is too late to stop the dominoes from falling.

please do not believe i am for what sharon has done, because that is not the case.
