Granted, we all know that the entertainment industry is almost entirely gay so we shouldn't be the least bit surprised by this, but, still, it is so sad to see the official end of our opportunity as conservatives to have a single safe avenue for mainstream entertainment outside of sports.

The cowboys-in-love drama "Brokeback Mountain," a potential Academy Award front-runner, led nominees Thursday for film prizes from actors and directors unions, includingHeath Ledger, Michelle Williams, and Jake Gyllenhaal and Ang Lee.
Along with Ledger and Gyllenhaal, playing old sheepherding buddies who conceal a homosexual affair from their families, the Screen Actors Guild nominated Philip Seymour Hoffman for his role as gay author Truman Capote in "Capote" and Felicity Huffman for her gender-bending turn as a man preparing for sex-change surgery in "Transamerica."
Ang Lee, who directed "Brokeback Mountain," and Bennett Miller, who made "Capote," earned nominations for best filmmaker from the Directors Guild of America.
"Brokeback Mountain" and "Capote" also were nominated for best overall cast performance, along with "Good Night, and Good Luck," "Crash" and "Hustle & Flow", the story of a pimp and drug dealer forging a career as a rap singer.

my husband, who is a pretend cowboy, calls this movie "backbiter mountain".
for those who don't know what a pretend cowboy is - he's a cowboy all the way, except every horse he's been on in the last 40 years has thrown him off! pretend cowboys use four wheelers now! but cowboys nonetheless.
real cowboys do not herd sheep, and do NOT pack fudge.

Barebackin' Mountain will only ensure more folks will vote GOP.
Most ranchers and people living in the "cowboy" culture will be disgusted and show it at the polls.
I used to meet some real cowboys on occasion when I lived in Texas and lemme say this - they are the most decent straight dealin people one could meet.

trust me - this will not be the COWBOY movie of the year, but it will be the FAG movie of the year because that is how hollywierd wants to treat us. but, there are quite a few of us who are boycotting them. with the exception of movies with a good message and family values.

it appears one of our own is upset with me. for some strange reason he's ignoring me and you all. if you think about it, you'll know who it is. i, for the sake of him, am going to step out of the photo for a few days. i'll miss you guys and him. don't quite know what i said or did to upset him because he will not tell me. so i'll either see you later or not.
just so you all and he knows, i am quite perhaps one of the most humble and forgiving people - i expect no more than i give. i pray he will forgive me for whatever the hell it is i did to tick him off.

guys - save your theater money for a movie coming out on january 20. it's called "end of the spear". a true story of the five missionaries who went to ecuador and were brutally killed by the waodani tribe - and the amazing story of forgiveness which follows.
there are people making movies out there with redeeming qualities - but we must look for them. all hope is not lost.
