The rabbi of Amona, Rabbi Yair Frank, gave a spiritual pep talk to many of the assembled protestors at Amona early this afternoon. "This is not a struggle only for the nine houses that the government wants to destroy," he said, "and not only for Amona. It is rather a struggle against the beginning of the Disengagement from all of Judea and Samaria."
"We understand now that when they talk of Disengagement, they mean first and foremost a disengagement from G-d and from the Torah and its commandments. The fight here in Amona is part of the struggle for the spiritual floor in the construction of the Land of Israel."

Iran: We'll Put Israel in 'Eternal Coma'
Iran's defense minister is threatening to put Israel in an "eternal coma" if the Jewish state tries to launch a preemptive strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.
In a televised interview Tuesday night, Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar declared: "Israel does not have the courage to attack Iran, and if it commits such a big mistake, the defenders of Islamic Iran will put Israel in an eternal coma like [Ariel] Sharon."
According to the Israeli news service Ynet, Najjar branded the United States and Israel as "the great and little Satan" and complained that the two western allies are "using psychological war to intimidate Iran."
Najjar was reacting to comments on Saturday by Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz, who said Israel may attack Iran if diplomatic measures to neutralize its nuclear weapons program fail.
"The state of Israel will not be able to accept Iranian armament, and must prepare to defend itself," Mofaz told the Herzliya Conference. "The Iranian president's regime supports terror in the Middle East by providing terror organizations with rockets that threaten Israel, money and knowledge."
Reacting to Najjar's threat, Israel's Ambassador to the U.N. Dan Gillerman said Iranian leaders were running an "extreme, fundamentalist, lunatic regime" that wanted to carry out a second Holocaust.
