Dov and Rachel Kol are dead today, murdered by moslems on their way back to Jerusalem from Gush Katif, though unless you really looked hard, it's likely you never knew about it from the mainstream media's complete disregard for the story.
Oddly enough, when a fuse went off killing nobody in Britain the media gave us 24 hour coverage and updates, yet, when these Jewish grandparents were ambushed and murdered on their drive back home from visiting the family, the news media barely mentioned it at all. Just Jews, right? They were probably provoking the subjugated moslems, anyway. Simply another retaliatory measure in the morally equivalent conflict between arabs and Jews, so why bother mentioning it, right? Who cares!
I care. A lot of us care. Why don't more people care? Well, if Sharon is willing to demolish the lives of the Jews in Gaza why should the rest of the world get upset if these "radical settlers" suffer losses, eh? I mean, if Israel isn't interested in them, well, no reason the rest of the free world should give a damn, either, I suppose.
The Sharon response?
"Israel will not countenance this terrorism," he told the Cabinet. "I made clear to the secretary of state that our response will be of a different kind, using very tough new measures."
Hear this, moslem terrorists! We really mean business this time! Now, I've got you on double secret probation!! Just one more murder in the name of Allah and we'll retreat entirely back to the 1948 partition! You no good, bad, bad guys, you!
Please.
Here's the moslem response in Gaza:
"Voice of Palestine radio and Palestinian state television applauded Sunday morning the murder of two Israeli civilians in Gaza Saturday," reports PA media expert Dr. Michael Widlanski. "Calling it an act of 'resistance' [muqawwima] and 'holy martyrdom' [istish-haad], [the broadcasts hinted] that the murderers were carrying out their civic duty."
Boy, I bet this plan to flea Gaza, with the IDF beating up and herding out Jews at gunpoint, really has the jihadists and shahids on the ropes. Gotta think they'll plan to surrender once that last synagogue has been blown up and the final home has been demolished.
Pathetic.
In other news, over the last several days we've seen an IDF officer, rabbi and an entire IDF company all declaring their refusal to participate in the Expulsion Plan. In addition, several other individual soldiers, most notably American born corporal, Avi Bieber, who declared, "I didn't come to Israel to beat up Jews."
These actions, coupled with the enormous protest in the Gaza town of K'far Maimon, and the powerful Likud MK, Moshe Faiglin, declaring IDF troops could and should refuse orders to attack and evacuate fellow Jews in the heinous Expulsion Plan, show strong problems lie ahead in Sharon's pulling off this un-Godly act of self mutilation against Jews and the Land of Israel.

The best part of all is what you said about Sharon and his empty "double secret probation" approach. It would be funny if it wasn't so real. Let's pray this twisted plan falls under its own weight and never happens.

When someone implies Sharon is too soft on terror you know you're dealing with a true Madman.
Sharon´s Friend to Build Casino in Gaza
By Hillel Fendel
Cyril Kern, whose donations to the Sharon family have been the subject of police investigation, is one of the financial partners in a casino-to-be-built in northern Gaza if Israel withdraws.
Former MK Shmuel Flatto-Sharon (pictured, right), the major player in the plans to build the casino, revealed to Arutz-7's Itzik Wolf that among his partners are a Saudi Arabian billionaire and Kern (pictured, left).
Flatto-Sharon said that he has already been in contact with the Palestinian Authority regarding his plans to build the casino on the lands of what is now Elei Sinai, one of the three Jewish communities in northern Gaza. Elei Sinai is the closest of the three to what will become, under Prime Minister Sharon's withdrawal plan, the PA-Israel border - only a couple of hundred meters away.
Cyril Kern is an old war-time buddy of Ariel Sharon who has long lived in South Africa. He and the Saudi businessman recently toured the area on which the casino/resort is to be built. Flatto-Sharon said he plans to conduct talks with Israel about ensuring that the homes of Elei Sinai remain standing, to be used to house future casino employees.
In 2003, the police began investigating a $1.5 million loan that Kern made to Sharon and/or his sons. The information was considered so damaging by a State Prosecution attorney that just three weeks before the national elections, she secretly faxed the story to a Ha'aretz reporter. She later explained that because she had a son of army age, she did not want Sharon to be re-elected as Prime Minister. The attorney was later forced to resign her position and pay a fine.
The Saudi billionaire arrived in Israel several months ago, at the behest of Labor MK Ephraim Sneh. He met at the time with senior officials in the Prime Minister's Bureau and discussed with them the possibility of his purchasing all the houses in Gush Katif for the price of seven billion dollars.
Flatto-Sharon said that the casino project will only begin after the disengagement. It will include a casino, a motel, and a five-star, 400-room hotel. The town's synagogue will remain standing for the benefit of the expected Israeli and Jewish gamblers.
The former MK, who served in the 9th Knesset on an independent party list, told Wolf that he has a detailed map of Elei Sinai that he received from the PA minister Kadura Fares. Fares himself received it lately from the Israel Defense Forces.
Flatto-Sharon said that half of the expected profits, which he calculates will reach a million dollars a day, "will be donated to the poor and underprivileged... for instance, the local municipal council workers who have not received salaries for several months."
Wolf reported that his query on the topic to the Prime Minister's Bureau has not yet been answered.
Sharon's top aide Dov Weisglass has long been accused of having conflicts of interests related to the casino in Jericho and a planned casino in Gaza. See
"http://israelbehindthenews.com/Archives/Sep-27-04.htm#NigudInteresssim" by David Bedein for details.
Follow the money.
"The town's synagogue will remain standing for the benefit of the expected Israeli and Jewish gamblers."
What a joke!
A synagogue to pray to who? the devil?
These guys that are involved with this casino project, (and other projects like it), show that they are Jews in name only.
RE: "When someone implies Sharon is too soft on terror you know you're dealing with a true Madman."
Well, I never deny my Madman status, but Sharon being soft on terror is no crazy theory. If you look at his plot to expel the Jews from Gaza by force and hand it over to the moslem terrorists you certainly don't have to be "MAD" to see his weakness.

Look at the bright side. When making the Gaza Strip safe for Islamic terrorism fails, Sharon could offer up Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
It worked for Ghandi didn't it? He gave away Pakistan and people just love him... cite him as a example of why India needs to give up Kashmir.
(sarcasm, obvious I hope)
"Sarcasm, obvious I hope."

To me, yes. To Sharon...not so sure.
