Benny Elon has throat cancer

The leader of the National Union and the Moledet Party has been diagnosed with throat cancer and will undergo 20 minute radiation treatments on a daily basis until it is destroyed.

Elon is the heir to the late Rehavim Zeevi, who founded and headed the Moledet Party until he was assassinated by terrorist moslems (sorry about the redundancy). Elon has authored the brilliant "Right Road to Peace" plan, which calls for the moslems to be transferred out of Judea, Samaria and all the territories of Eretz Israel.

Elon will continue campaigning through his treatments, and still fully intends to head the National Union. The National Union recently merged with the NRP to form an anti-expulsion rightwing bloc for the next elections, though some on the right (including the Madzionist) have been concerned that joining with the more concession friendly NRP could water down the resistance and hurt the people of Yesha (the Settlers).

Elon is eventually hoping to become the Justice Minister of Israel. He would be a very good one, indeed.

For those of you who would like to say a Mi Shebarach (blessing of health) for Mr. Elon at shul, his hebrew name is Binyamin bas Rus (Ruth).

I hope Rabbi Elon has a full recovery. That being said as part of the merger with the NRP the NU took out transfer from their platform. Just more proof the only party to vote for is Hazit.

Kahaneloyalist, I am leaning towards your sentiments, as the thought that the NU/NRP would be lead by that heretic Orlev should something (God forbid) happen to Benny Elon is a totally unacceptable option.

I am not as familiar with Hazit, could you send me a link?

Just did some reading about Merzel. His platform is strong and I admire his efforts. I still feel he will be limited to one or two seats at best, and that's if he isn't banned by the militant left altogether, so while I believe in his mission I am not sure he has the following to make it happen.

Elon may have sinned terribly by bringing in that scumbag Orlev and his NRP gang of concessionists, but I still feel he and Eldad and Eitam and the rest of the NU are strong fighters of expulsion and should be trusted to fight for Eretz Israel.

I would liked to have seen Elon and the NU merge with Merzel instead of Orlev, and bring in Feiglin from Likud, too. That would have made for a very good bloc on the right and would have grabbed big votes.
