A Little Reminder

Just a little reminder for you folks of exactly what the Fatah Party, led by Mahmoud Abbas, is really all about.

With all the mind numbing capitulations and concessions delivered from Ariel Sharon to Mr. Abbas, including, but not limited to, giving his outspoken support for the Fatah Party over Hamas in the "Palestinian" elections, acquiescing to Abbas' demands to release thousands of moslem terrorists from Israeli prisons, eradicating Jewish Gaza at Abbas' behest, and the targeted killings of Hamas and Islamic Jihad leadership while protecting Mahmoud Abbas and his Al Ahqsa Brigades, one gets the impression that the Fatah Party must be a real peace partner looking for a cozy state of their own side-by-side with Israel.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Look at this from the Fatah charter:

Article 9: Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine.

Article 15: It is a national duty to repulse the Zionist imperialist invasion from the great Arab homeland and to purge the Zionist presence from Palestine.

Article 22: The liberation of Palestine will liquidate the Zionist and imperialist presence and bring about the stabilization of peace in the Middle East.

Liquidate the Zionists? Can you imagine if Israel had a constitution which called for the total liquidation of the Arabs? I bet the EU would love that.

Truth be told, Abbas and Fatah are interested in one thing and one thing only: the total annihilation of the Jewish State and genocide of the Jewish people. No amount of "good will gestures" or "Land for Peace" concessions will change this fact.

And don't forget it.

Abbas is a terrorist who denies the Holocaust and openly congratulates the suicide bombers and martyrs for a job well done. Why is he allowed to live much less given all these gifts and offerings like he's a man of peace? He should be rotting in jail or hanging from a noose.

You are absolutely right, Oy Vay. That Abbas can openly applaud the terrorists and martyrs, but be called a reasonable man of peace by world leaders is beyond my comprehension.

Well, it actually isn't. While hating Jews defies sanity, it is certainly not hard to believe. Nothing surprises me about the perverse double standard the world holds for Israel and the Jewish people.
